What PATRN is

PATRN reads volleyball match files you upload — DataVolley exports and VolleyMetrics reports — and turns the numbers already in them into scouting reports. It does not estimate, and it does not add statistics that are not in your files.

This is a beta

PATRN is in active development and provided free during the beta. It may change, break, or be unavailable without notice. Do not rely on it as your only copy of anything: keep your original match files.

Your data is yours

The match files you upload, the reports built from them, and your roster remain yours. PATRN stores them to provide the service and to support you when something goes wrong. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with other programs.

You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time and it will be removed from the live service.

What you are responsible for

  • Having the right to upload the match files you upload, including any licence terms attached to them by DataVolley or VolleyMetrics.
  • Keeping your account credentials to yourself, and managing who on your staff has access.
  • Anything you share. A share link works for anyone who has it, with no login — treat one like an email attachment.

What we do not promise

PATRN reads your files faithfully, but no software is free of error. It is a coaching aid, not a decision-maker: you are responsible for how you use what it produces. During beta there is no uptime guarantee and no guaranteed response time.

Paid plans, later

PATRN will become a paid product. Beta access is free, and you will not be charged without being told first and choosing to continue. Nothing here obliges you to buy anything.

Ending it

You can stop using PATRN and ask for your account to be closed at any time. We may end beta access, and will give you a chance to export or retrieve your reports first.
